Both the extended focal length and the aperture are written into the image data, to ensure that they show the actual settings used. Please note, this extender is ONLY compatible with the Vario-Elmar-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3 and the Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200mm f/2.8 ASPH. It will not work on any other L-mount lenses.
