Leica Camera proudly presents the Leica D-LUX (Typ 109) Explorer Kit, consisting of a black Leica D-LUX (Typ 109) camera with an auto lens cap and an exclusive red carrying strap made of cotton - packed in a white box with a sleeve depicting one of the four seasons. The Leica D-LUX Explorer Kit will be available with different box sleeves to coincide with the season in the region. There are only 1,000 Leica D-LUX Explorer Kits with the sleeves available worldwide to all Leica Stores, Boutiques and dealers.
Of all the Leica compact cameras, the D-Lux has one of the fastest lenses. Featuring a Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9–34 mm f/1.7–2.8 ASPH. lens that is ideally matched to its large four-thirds sensor, it delivers images with natural colors and outstanding picture quality. Thanks to its extremely versatile zoom lens (equivalent to 24 to 75 mm in 35 mm format), it is ideal for almost all creative areas of photography – from portraits to landscapes, architecture to macro and the classical domain of Leica cameras, reportage photography.
The Leica D-Lux in the set is technically identical to the standard model in every way and impresses with the same extensive range of features, versatile functions and an intuitive handling concept. Alongside its fast zoom lens, its outstanding features include highlights like a high-resolution electronic viewfinder for perfect composition of subjects, 4K video recording and an integrated WiFi module for remote control of the camera from a smartphone or tablet PC and wireless transmission of still pictures or video to end devices. The Leica Image Shuttle app required for this function can be downloaded free of charge and installed on iOS or Android devices. Classically elegant and timelessly beautiful design with particular attention to simple and intuitive handling add the final, refined touches to the portfolio of the camera.
